Dar As-Salaam
A concentration with the focus on the Middle East
Over the millennia, the lands of the Middle East produced several magnificent and powerful kingdoms, and their remains, and especially what is left of their stunning, elaborate art are now a major part of our joint heritage.
It is of course also the birthplace of, and the centre of gravity for, the world-wide ummah.
As we are all painfully aware, today the area carries some of the present-day humanity’s deepest unresolved wounds.
In the perilous situation of our times we feel it necessary, if not obligatory for the Sufis, to offer spiritual support for the region, for the preservation and renewal of its din.
This group is aiming to contribute by serving as a channel for the Light, An-Nur, to protect, restore, and encourage the truth that feeds the roots of all the peoples in that part of the world.

During our by-weekly 30 min-long sessions we focus on the energy of Love and let it help us enhance the flow of light, of the ever-living, enduring and continuously rebounding Life to the region of the Middle East.
Sufi mureeds of any order are welcome to join us, online or “in spirit.” All Muslims, as well as everyone of any other tradition, or none, with the heart willing to embrace the whole of the region with no exceptions, are also welcome.
These sessions are not teaching classes. Participants must have an ample experience of silent meditation.
Knowledge of any of the Surahs from the Holy Qur’an is not required, however one needs to be genuinely open to the energy they carry.
